Avocados When choosing the best avocados, you should look for consistency all over and avoid the fruits with bruises, flat areas or soft spots. 
 
 Fresh Kiwi Fruit are usually available in the markets from June to March. To check for ripeness, give it a very gentle squeeze. Ripes ones give slightly to the touch.
Cauliflower should be dense and heavy with a satiny stem.
The leaves surrounding the florets should be fresh and green.
 Choose cauliflower that is tight and compact, with no dark spots or mildew, and with firm, straight leaves.
